Just like the snow leopard from Schleich® Wild Life, the snow leopard has light gray fur with black rosettes.
The snow leopard is a big cat that lives in the high rocky mountains of Central Asia. It feeds mainly on sheep, ibexes and goats. The thick fur protects it from the freezing cold and is so beautiful that many of them are victims of poaching. This is the reason why the snow leopard is now an endangered species. Like the snow leopard from Schleich® Wild Life, it is distinguished by its tail, which is almost as long as its body.
