As in the wild, the Schleich® Wild Life wombat has grey-brown fur, a large head and remarkably short arms and legs.
Wombats are small marsupials that live on the Australian continent. Due to the shape of its body, it is also called the pocket rat. When not grazing, the small mammals live underground, digging burrows and tunnels. Like the Schleich® Wild Life wombat, their dentition is rodent-like while the claws on their large paws are sickle-shaped.
Fun facts:
Wombats sleep by lying on their backs with all four legs stretched upwards.
